Some souls leave paw prints on our hearts forever, and Niko was one of them. Losing Niko has left a hole in my heart that nothing can fill. He wasn’t just a dog-he was my best friend, my shadow, my comfort on hard days, and my reason to smile on good ones. His love was pure, his loyalty unwavering, and his presence made everything feel a little lighter.
I’ll miss the way he looked at me with those knowing eyes begging for his pup cup, the way tail wagged at the sound of my voice, and the quiet moments when just having him near made everything okay. He brought so much joy into my life, and even though he’s no longer here, that love will never fade.
