Tippie joined our family one spring morning when a litter of cats was found on the side of our house. We knew we would keep him when Jack just barely 2 at the time picked him up by his neck. Tippie hissed at him but never tried to run away. He was so fluffy and had the biggest blue eyes. He grew up to be the biggest, fattest, sweetest cat. Most people when they came to visit were surprised at how big he was & we always introduced him as our lion. Tippie loved to snuggle and Patrick’s chest was his favorite to lay on. At night he would come lay on the end of my bed by my feet, He had no regard for how heavy he was or how much space he took up, attacking my feet when I would try and move them. Daily when you walked by him in that spot he would unexpectedly swat at you and try and attack you. I think we will all miss that. You often found Tippie in the bathroom when you needed to use it or take a shower. He really loved to be in there when Danny needed to brush his teeth and he would run up the stairs with you just to go in there to let you know he wanted his food and water. He didn’t have a strong voice box, so he whispered his meows and if you would talk to him he always whispered back at you. Leda enjoyed bullying him and Tippie let her but he also let Leda know who was boss when he had enough. Lexie on the other hand apparently didn’t know he was a cat and had zero problem trying to “violate” him but he quickly showed her he wasn’t having it. Tippie had a lot of nicknames, his main one being Fatty but also included Tipper Twos and Bipper Bops & Fatty Catty. He truly was the most amazing cat and he will be greatly missed forever. He was the King of the neighborhood, the King of our house and now he is a King in our hearts and memories!
