In loving memory of

Our beloved Cooper passed away on February 27, 2024, leaving behind immense sadness but countless joyful memories as part of our family. Cooper was brought to us after nearly being sent to the pound 12 years ago. To our astonishment, he was called Cooper by his original owner – a clear sign this adorable dog with chocolate fur and light brown eyes was destined to join the Cooper clan.

Cooper became a playful whirl of constant kinetic energy and wagging tail. That rascal Cooper may have destroyed many of our belongings, but we wouldn’t trade our years with him for anything! While wary of unknown dogs during his loyalty-filled walks around the neighborhood, he offered only ceaseless friendship to beloved humans he interacted with at home and beyond. Cooper saw us all through life’s ups and downs over the years, remaining a steadfast loving companion during our highest highs and lowest moments.

More than the walks or his licks of love, Cooper gifted our family – Kenneth, Terri, Kendall and Kennedy – with a profound sense of support, comfort, and togetherness. He was far more to us than a mere pet – Cooper was family. We have been made better and brighter after over a decade by his side. While our hearts break saying goodbye, the magical mark of this special soul dwells on with bittersweet appreciation and memories that span the years.

Run free across the rainbow bridge, sweet Cooper. We love and thank you endlessly.
