Sam Johnson

Owner

Growing up in a family of servant leaders, Mr. Johnson’s father, Jimmy Johnson, managed a family-owned funeral home for more than 40 years. In early 2000s, Jimmy saw a need to serve pet parents and opened a small pet cremation service in Lenoir City, TN. Sam Johnson served alongside his father throughout his childhood before leaving for the military in 2001, and worked with his father when he returned home on leave. In 2015, Sam Johnson left the active-duty military and spent the remaining time he could with his father, Jimmy, who passed away from cancer in 2016.

As a lifetime pet parent, Mr. Johnson and his family see pets as a member of their family. Pets do so much for us. We want to remember those family members the same way we would any loved one. Utilizing his extensive knowledge and experience in grief and loss, while simultaneously being a pet parent himself, he is uniquely qualified to lead a much-needed service in the pet memorialization and cremation business.
