Sometimes in life, you find the most priceless treasures in places you least expect. Flea markets are a place where there are a mix of treasures and junk. To find the treasures you have to have that special eye for something other people don’t look at twice but might be priceless to you. That’s the way I found my Micco. I was walking the isles of the flea market looking for things I might like. I came up to a table where a man was selling fidget spinners. What caught my eye was a little ball of fur. It was laying on the table and being the animal
lover I am I ofcourse asked what it was and if I could hold it. It was a chihuahua mix, little boy dog named fidget. The man said he was going to have to rehome him, his wife said they had too many dogs. I wasn’t ready for another animal so I offered to hold the puppy and help find someone who would buy him. After about an hour of holding this little ball of fur, this lady comes up and asked how much he would cost and said she would like to buy him. Inside I felt like a switch had been flipped and immediately was like “ I’m sorry, I just realized this is my dog, I can’t let him go. She was confused but I handed the man cash and walked away with the biggest treasure ever. This little animal who’s owner didn’t even see his value, was instantly like a diamond to me. I changed his name to Micco which means “big chief” in cherokee. This one flea market trip was destined to happen. This was my dog and I wad his mommy. We never looked back. He became my best friend, like a child to me. I have loved him for 7 years and will carry that treasure with me the rest of my life until we meet again.
