When my brother passed away in 2009 and after attending his funeral I answered an ad about free kittens. This lady has so many kittens running around but he was the only black and white one. I told her I would take that one and she said no she wanted to keep it and I told her that was the only one that I wanted, and I wouldn’t be taking a kitten unless you would let me have that one so she let me have him.
Was my brother‘s illness he had to spend some time in a nursing home. When you’re there, you have to have your name on all of your clothes and other items I did his laundry and sometimes his socks would get left behind and I would wear them with his name, clearly printed on them. While trying to come up with a name for this new little kitten, I noticed that all four of his paws were white . I said out loud it looks like he has socks on. I looked down at my feet and I had a pair of my brother Bobby’s socks on immediately said that he had Bobby’s socks on so that’s how he got his name. That was in 2009. This cat became my best friend and was a living testament to 17 years of my life. He was there to celebrate with me for the good and he was there to comfort me for the bad he was always by my side. I can’t imagine life without him, but I know that he wouldn’t want me to be sad for too long. I’m really gonna miss him..
